Here at Wilkinson Antiques our range of antique mirrors currently includes a Regency convex mirror, antique gilt mirrors, antique cheval mirrors, antique toilet wall mirrors etc amongst the others. The reflections cast by these antique mirrors mean they are perfect for adding that extra dimension to a room and they are good for adding light and a feeling of space to a room when placed strategically. The larger forms of glass mirrors were born somewhere in the early 16th century. Initially mirrors were predominantly the hand mirrors that could be used by individuals. Later on once the production of glass mirrors started taking up speed the larger mirrors started appearing on the market.

Wilkinson Antiques has a fine stock which includes mirrors from the Regency, Chipendale, George III and the Sheraton period. Apart from the mirrors we also provide wall hangings by way of  antique tapestries including a 17th century tapestry, water colour paintings, oil paintings on canvas, landscape shaped paintings, needlework pictures etc.... all of which are featured in this section.
